Complete gas cleaning system for a special waste vitrification plant
We design our plants depending on the local requirements using standardized modules of process steps. Thus the most economical process can be adapted. |
Preconditions for the plant shown above
The off gas of a special waste vitrification plant
contains heavy metal dust, acidic components, nitrous gases as well as dioxines and furanes. The emission firgures have to meet the requirements of 17. BlmSchV.
Process
In a first process step the solids are separated in a bag house filter. Then the off gas is led via a catalyst to reduce the nitrous gases. A subsequent quench and absorption step eliminates the acidic components. The gas leaving the absorber is reheated and then passes an activated carbon adsorber in which dioxines, furanes and the remaining volatile heavy metals are adsorbed by the activated carbon.
The waste water from the wet cleaning step is treated in a multiple stage system (neutralization, sedimentation, filtration) to meet the requirements for inducing the waste water into the sewer.
